Hey HN, I'm a dude working as an SRE and IT Manager (for different companies), I enjoy the money from one and the work and fulfillment from the other (establishing and growing a team is great! the SRE gig does not offer that, so I found it on the side through someone that needed specifically my history+knowledge with/of them), I can juggle them great and have been doing so for a while. Delivered across the career projects from small to ridiculously large, owned important parts that made A Lot Of Money™ for the companies I worked for, even though some were not my specialties, I also have some very specific domain knowledge (close to logistics, can't say more than that here).
I'm looking for something more, something better. I'm trying to launch my own things but I commonly fall into obvious traps (not good enough yet, fiscal fears and so on). I'm unsure if I should retreat into the woods, find a great gig at a startup that'll make me forget I have a life or just quit one of the jobs and enjoy life a bit more (this might get boring fast).
What should I do? If you know but rather not answer, do drop an email at [redacted]
