Ella is an AI companion designed to provide emotional and mental support when human interaction isn't available. We've developed Ella to be a empathetic listener, supportive presence, and able to connect on a variety of topics, like books, movies and tv.

The red background of Ella's messages initially made me think that it's a system error, not Ella's response, and overall red doesn't seem to me the best colour to help calm down

Thanks for sharing this on color... great point which the team will look into.

I wish there was an option to export the conversation.

Thanks, our team weighed this, but decided for mvp, not to store any of chats people engage with Ella. This is a great feature we'll put on our roadmap as it's been asked for by some other folks. Appreciate you sharing.

please try Ella and let us know we can improve her

When visiting the announced URL it is unclear (1) who is behind the bot, and (2) if anyone besides myself has access to the conversation.

Re. 1: For me it would suffice with a simple About page with contact information.

Re. 2: I would like to know where the conversation is stored, for how long, and who is able to read it. The bot is presented as “emotional support” so the conversation could potentially contain personal and sensitive information. E.g., if I'm in Texas and tells Ella about my unwanted pregnancy, should I be worried that the conversation falls into the hands of the texan authorities?

Cheers.

Re. 1: Thanks for this feedback. We will get this added. Re. 2: We do not store any of your chats you type into ella.quicklabs.app nor the responses coming back from Ella at the moment. Please let us know if you have any other feedback / insights to help improve Ella to make her useful for you all.

Thanks!

For any feedback on Ella or if you want to reach the team, please email: quicklabs.app@gmail.com Thx

What's different between gpt4o, and Ella?
