Apple's Approach to AI Should Rewrite the Industry's Expectations

I believe a bulk of the negative reaction came from the announcement of a partnership with OpenAI. Whatever Apple's stance is towards the technology, OpenAI is a bull in a china shop compared to the relative security of a local-only AI solution.
