Have we found a legitimate use for web3 technologies yet?

I am still in awe that nobody has told a16z that they are the only ones playing this musical chairs of crypto and everyone has stopped pretending that web3 is the 'next best thing'.
It is not, it is a scam and only filled with non-legitimate speculative use cases, building a 'web3 company' is only contributing to this snake oil grift, web3 companies are built to be shut down in months.
