The interview itself demonstrates parroting vs. actual reasoning, imho.

There's a big difference between playing devil's advocate and repeating the same question because you don't understand the interviewee's point

Artificial, being the product of human engineers;

General, able to handle any problem domain once expressed in language;

Intelligent, able to derive efficient solutions to posed problems.
