Does this mean that to get a green card you first have to climb over those great big walls that are supposed to stop immigrants, make your way to, and enrol in a local college, graduate, and then apply for your green card.
All the while hiding from the authorities who want to send you back over the great big wall from whence you came.
Currently, from my limited understanding. Someone would come over on a student visa, graduate, and find a job that is willing to sponsor them until they can get citizenship… which is a long process. A co-worker of mine got his green card a couple years ago, while someone I was friends with in college had to leave and go back to his home country because he couldn’t find a job.
Trump went on to specify that he would apply the policy to anyone attending a two- or four-year college.
