Ask HN: Would you quit your job because of the business domain?

I like the product the company I work for is building, but I hate the area/domain in which I’m working. It’s certainly the most complex area in the company, and they hire more engineers precisely to work on it. When I did the interview it didn’t sound that bad, but it’s just painful to work with because the business domain is complex and so the codebases reflect such complexity.

Everything else (people, management, etc.) seems fine, so I’m unsure whether I should just quit and try to find something better. I’m not concerned with the state of the market at the moment (I always manage to find something), but I have never quit before because I disliked something (I have always quit in good terms, always with a positive feeling )
