Show HN: wc-GPU: The Unix util `wc` running on a GPU

I got nerdsniped again. We-gpu is wc, gpu accelerated for no good reason other than I could.

You should probably rerun the benchmarks for wc2 on the same hardware as well. Otherwise one might have a faster SSD, or something else that makes the comparison unfair.

With mac, is that m series? Thinking would be faster given unified memory reducing copy overhead.
