Share of expenditure spent on food vs. total consumer expenditure, 2022

hard to understand from the scatter plot.

Isn't this exactly the distribution you should expect if food were a constant cost? It would appear as a larger percent of total household expenses as your income decreased.

That's an obvious conclusion. Not sure what point is being made here.
