Nor would I describe Jacobin or The New Statesman as reliable.
He literally wrote articles for both of them. If you don't believe them, why do you care at all if it's true or not?
Let's wait and see.
As far as I can tell, neither article has basic facts about his death, either, such as where he died or how.
Wife verified on phone (according to screenshot) that he is not dead
heh
I was probably just 12 years old, but it profoundly impacted this little kid and was etched for the rest of my life.
Rest in peace, Mr. Chomsky. You've impacted more people than you can ever imagine.
PS: There's something utterly contradictory announcing his passing on >Twitter< of all places. He's already rolling in his grave.

I did the rounds a few mins ago, and there is nothing on BBC, CNN, France24, DW.
For all we know he has passed. I will believe it when I see it in these (or some other credible site), not a joke's twitter/X account.

For a public intellectual he was really approachable, RIP.
Seriously, that man had a profound positive influence on my life in so many ways. What a loss. R.I.P.
I had probably a dozen epiphanies reading that book.
After that, you could read manufacturing consent.
Highly influential
