Think about it: if people are going to be using AI to condense emails and make them more readable, why send such pointlessly big, fluffy emails in the first place? Just seems like a waste of electricity and water.
If people are struggling from email overload anyway, why pile on with more of it?
Even the idea of asking it to write a "persuasive" email—asking a machine to write something to effectively manipulate someone doesn't sit well with me. Yes, marketing is ultimately targeted manipulation, but this feels like breaking some kind of taboo by encouraging it in the marketing materials.
Marketing materials show Gmail, but doesn't Gmail already write and summarize email too via Gemini?
Regarding persuasive emails, the goal is to assist in professional communication, ensuring messages are well-structured and impactful without being manipulative. Ethical considerations are a priority in our design.
As for Gemini, it is integrated with Gmail and offers a range of AI features. However, Scribix is more specific, focusing exclusively on enhancing email communication efficiency. Additionally, Gemini is part of Google's premium plan, which can be quite expensive. Scribix aims to provide a cost-effective solution that integrates seamlessly with both Gmail and Outlook, offering tailored experiences for diverse user needs.
Last week, I finally started talking about Scribix in a few online communities, and in just two days, I managed to get 100 people on the early access waitlist!
I emailed a few of them, and one replied saying, they were excited to use Scribix to handle their high volume of daily emails more effectively. They mentioned that it's the perfect solution for their productivity needs and can't wait to see how it will improve their workflow!
I'm incredibly grateful for the positive response. This early interest is motivating me to put even more energy into building better features and ensuring Scribix delivers a seamless experience.
Thank you to everyone who has shown interest! I look forward to continuing this journey and making Scribix the go-to tool for email productivity.
