Hello, I'm Edward. I am a software developer from Canada that dabbles in hardware. Starting a hardware company is notoriously difficult. I thought it would be interesting to interview hardware startups in order to demystify how people learned to create and sell physical products.

I appreciate any feedback or questions. You can find me at: edward@howtoware.co

Hey, really neat idea. What is your process for choosing which companies you'd like to interview?

Whenever I see a hardware startup that I personally would like to know more about, I reach out.

I have had the most success with messaging people on Hacker News who have mentioned their company. They seem to be the most open. I have also talked to people on Reddit, CrowdSupply, and companies I have seen in the news.
