Standing Up for Little Tech – YC Goes to D.C [video]

tldw (thanks to the AI summarizer I found by googling):

- YC believes "little tech" is not represented well enough in politics

- Sometimes, big and little tech are aligned (eg. on immigration), but sometimes they're not (eg. monopoly laws)

- Big tech has lobbying, while little tech does not, and YC is trying to fix that

.

Some things they advocate for:

- Free access to talent

- Regulation of monopolies

- Bans on non-compete

- Fair market access for emerging technologies (eg. no ban on open-source AI)
