Under this definition would lead be considered a forever chemical?
There's however tetraethyllead/alkyl-lead, which are compounds that are considered PBTs or POPs. Tetraethyllead used to be a fuel additive that is now banned.

Lead compounds like tetraethyl lead do break down... eventually.
In fact, DuPont gets their forever chemicals from 3M
3M has known for decades that their chemicals were toxic to humans and also getting into people’s bloodstreams, and once they figured this out, they hid all of their knowledge and increased the output.
