Elon Musk reportedly diverted AI chips from Tesla to X

For him to buy some other unprofitable social media company and sink it even further, of course.
My conspiracy theory is that he wants to get his payout, tank Tesla's stock, and then take it private again at the lower valuation. But I don't think there is any situation where the math would actually work out on that.
> Tesla had no place to send the Nvidia chips to turn them on, so they would have just sat in a warehouse. The south extension of Giga Texas is almost complete. This will house 50k H100s for FSD training. [1]
Isn't this just... admission!?
Does anybody believe that a 1 year old startup of 50 people in California, has more 'space' to install the GPUs than Tesla, which has unlimited space and resources (or so they claim) and that brands itself as the best AI / robotics company in the world ?
How naive people can be ? Apparently very naive.
Elon's huge personality was great for Tesla in the early-mid days. He had a way of making headlines that made Tesla a household name without having a marketing department.
But these days, he's absolutely toxic for the long-term success of the company. His firing of the entire Supercharger team right when all the other manufacturers were adopting NACS is nothing short of lunacy.
Then there's the pushing of unpopular things like removing the stalks on the steering wheel in favor of touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel for turn signals and swiping on the center screen to switch between Park/Reverse/Drive, not to mention the entire debacle of the Cybertruck.
What worries me the most is that Tesla's Musk-led implosion will make other manufacturers see it as some sort of proof that EVs aren't viable and cancel their developments.
Elon needs to go. He's become poison, killing everything he touches.
Won't China's affordable EVs, plus the upcoming hottest summer of all time (because physics) counter this? But if the superchargers start failing and people think "Charging is a pain, I don't want to buy an EV", this could hapen...
I wonder how the vote for the biggest compensation bonus in history will go. Probably going to pass.
Situations like this make me feel really bad about the world. It's hard for me to look up to or admire someone like Elon Musk.
