But more seriously, it's unfortunate how the NYT and major news outlet always seem to decide what the narrative should be first and then find a few folks that will fill in the blanks. It's lazy and hacky journalism at best. Once you see it you can't unsee it.

Seems a bit rich considering that OpenAI itself is an avid and leading contestant in that reckless race. I would even go so far as to say they started it.
