For those who haven't read it, this is a print newspaper with a Christian, anti-CCP editorial stance ("Editorial: The Reality of China’s Pandemic and the CCP’s Demise") although in recent years its digital edition has expanded into other clickbaity topics. I see stacks of them in the lobbies of Asian supermarkets. I always assumed wealthy donors or grassroots donations from Asian churches funded operations.
Falun Gong most definitely isn't a Christian denomination.
Calling Falun Gong christian is weird
Falun Gong owns a very large anti-China media empire outside of just the Epoch times called New Tang Dynasty TV (NTD). Popular youtuber's like China Uncensored are managed by NTD. Falun Gong also runs Shun Yun that Chinese dance performance that gets advertised everywhere.
Are you thinking of the Washington Times? That’s run by a Korean quasi-Christian new religious movement. Epoch Times is at least historically Falun Gong; it’d be hard to read Falun Gong as Christian.
