Why Asia Stopped Having Kids

Funnily, it seems that any way the data goes, the author can create a story. Here is what the author said after finding data that contradicted his prediction that Asian countries would have fewer traffic incidents.
> I suppose we can save race science by invoking more race science. Asians are low on non-conforming behavior, but they’re also bad drivers, and maybe the impact of the latter is more important.
The usual reason is:
Better Female Health + Better Female Education = Lower Birth Rates.
We need several generations of lower-than-replacement birth rates to reduce the world population down to more sustainable levels.Myself I think the drop from a fertility rate of above 6 to less than 3 is simply that taking care of infants and toddlers gets real old real quick. If birth control is available and child mortality is low that's what women (and men) choose.
A web of potentially interesting data is presented, but no rigorous reasoning is involved. A lot of words to assert confirmation bias of “Asians are conformist”.
>Richard Hanania is an American political science researcher and right-wing political commentator
Being a partisan "commentator" automatically makes you a "propagandist" now?
> Between 2008 and the early 2010s Hanania wrote for alt-right and white supremacist publications under the pseudonym Richard Hoste.
That seems much more serious than just being a "partisan commentator"
The "the American right" isn't a monolith. So far as I can tell, he doesn't condone whatever trump did or the capitol hill attacks.
