To Wube: Please make an undo/redo version that also works in just a selected area. I tend to move around a lot and want to undo some changes but not others. Like Doctor Strange sending an apple and just an apple back and forth in time.

Some teams would spend a long time searching for an optimal architecture to solve these problems, perhaps involving a persistent world-state data structure and a pure function runGameTick. Factorio is not that team, and managed to solve every problem by brute force.
