This probably saves more energy by keeping you fit than it directly generates.
But that's okay, a lot of exercise is finding the time and motivation to actually do it and this helps him tick both boxes.
True. This did make me curious assuming constant fitness, how much energy would be saved vs powering those without the detour via human--that was my only gripe with the human battery premise of Matrix.
