I love free books, but does the website owner have permission from the author to post this there? The copyright notice says, "Copyright © 2018 John K. Ousterhout. All rights reserved. As far as this book goes, when I read it a few years ago I kind of appreciated it, but found it a bit too abstract and philosophical to be useful.
