Good article just one small clarification. The ContactInfo is public. It's displayed on the metrics site [0] for everyone.

PSA: Avoid TOR hosting where an IP is used by an outgoing mailserver.

Folks who maintain and use block lists: They can struggle to distinguish between bridge and exit nodes - even if the difference is carefully explained.

This is true for guards, middle relays, and of course exits, but less so for bridges, since their IPs are not published globally like other relays are. The people maintaining block lists can't block what they don't know.

I have a 10yo memory of a distinct list of bridge nodes.

Publication policies may have changed or my memory could be faulty. However, bridge IPs do seem to be obtainable. https://tb-manual.torproject.org/bridges/
