Don't eat any of it.
The biggest con is that in the UK there is a loophole that is regularly used by food manufacturers to avoid declaring ingredients on the packet label.
This loophole classifies these unknown and unnamed products as "Processing aids"
Non of this shit is on any food label so you never really know what you are eating.
Take a simple loaf of bread purchased from any of our supermarkets:
People have no idea that their bread contains "Added" enzimes.
The Enzimes; Transglutaminase and L-cysteine hydrochroride and are used to make the dough stretchier.
There is also L-ascorbic acid which increases the volume of the dough giving a false impression of size. Aiding manufacturers use of poor quality flours.
Soya protein, a flour improver, again, aiding manufacturers use of poor quality flours.
Finally the preservative; Calcium Propionate.
I am an apprentice served baker.
During my training I asked one of the head bakers what the yellow powder was that I had to add to each dough. He told me that it was soya protein and other flour improvers.
I have been a home baker for over 50 years. I only eat and bake home made sourdough. I only use organic flours and have never eaten any bread from any supermarket, high street bakers or high street take away shops, including pizza.
Imagine what is in a Mcdonalds burger bun and that tasty looking cheap pizza.
A certain long drawn out slow death.
