As of today, carbon emissions have only increased and the AI boom has got utility operators planning more gas power plants, so things are still headed in the wrong direction. I don't think it stops at 2C or 3C either.
How to fix this? We need to expect to: have less, have it more slowly, and use it as efficiently as possible. If we don't do this, it'll be forced on us, painfully.
