NCC is really terrifying. There's no real prophylaxis methods for humans AFAIK. However, the disease should be eradicable now by vaccination of pigs. If not everywhere, at least certain countries. For example Madagascar is among the worst affected by NCC and it's an island country so complete eradication should be easier. Some actually effective altruist billionaire should step up and do it.
