Jack Dorsey says that he's not on the Bluesky board anymore

I still don't know why seemingly no one has been able to create a good clone of 2010-2015 Twitter. Mastodon is clunky, BlueSky was invite-only for so long that people lost interest, and any "free speech" version gets flooded by the "I want to say slurs without consequences" crowd.

It’s the last part.

Plug: We are working towards it. Hope you give https://rittr.club a spin. Instead of reinventing another protocol, we are sticking with plain old RSS

How does it tackle things like replies? Like if I am not following someone and they reply to my post.

Does it have a algorithom ?

Whispy seems promising, it's by the same dev as OldTwitter - https://github.com/dimdenGD/OldTwitter

Isn't https://www.threads.net/ exactly that?

No surprise since he spends most of his time on Nostr nowadays.

This was old news on bsky months ago

It was known that Jack had deleted his account and that he was bullish on nostr, but the news of him leaving the board is new and only a few days old.

This is the only thing that ever plays in my mind when reading "Jack Dorsey":

> Twitter user @deyonte_btc asks:

Stream sats. Build LN into BlueSky or Twitter please and thank you.

> @jack replies:

  Only a matter of time

I will never trust a crypto-bro's product until they take the crypto-bro out of it.

BlueSky has never had cryptocurrency stuff in it, nor plans to, though they do use one or two techniques that are also popular in the crypto space.

Here's an update with official statement from Bluesky

I wonder if this is related to his recent tweets about the pro-Palestine student protests.

Bluesky is not gaining traction. X seems to be where the action is nowadays.

Yeah I love Elon tweets being forced on me, lots of awesome action

Don’t be dramatic. Just mute him if for some reason appears in your “For you” feed

It's not dramatic, it's insane behavior to force yourself into everyones feed

his tweet is so annoying, i think he’s past his prime
