Sony forcing Steam users to link to a PSN account or lose access to Helldivers 2

The worst part being that users in the Baltics, for example, cannot create a PSN account at all, but they were able to purchase Helldivers 2 via Steam and play it for the last 4 months.

This means that there will be customers who bought the game legally via Steam losing access to the product they purchased - which has worked fine for the last 4 months - due to the rules of a 3rd party store unaffiliated with the original store they bought the game from.

This is turning into a public relations disaster for Sony.
