Show HN: Extension to preview links on any website
maxfoc.us
I have been working on the MaxFocus: Link preview extension for the past month. It allows you to preview the content of a link before you open it — a handy way to scroll through your feed without opening multiple tabs.
Some of the extra features:
— Read mode and dark mode for articles
— Almost full customisation of UI and behaviour
— Advanced safety: we use a few services to check the links for malware and phishing
— AI summaries and extracting key points for the previewed page (Claude)
— It also works even faster than opening links in a new tab
It now gets 30-50 new users per day without active marketing and has recently started generating revenue through PRO subscriptions.
I'm ready to answer your questions.
P.S. That's how I read HN: https://casca.space/f/5GDFUe
