Show HN: Write Your Memoir
memoir-app.com
Today I finished a first version of Memoir. It's a web app that asks you 15 deep life questions and turns them into a story.
You might like it if you like reflecting about your life, goals, experiences, and your past.
I've been doing (and redoing) self authoring for some time. This has monumentally helped me to overcome personal issues and painful memories. One or two months ago I was playing around with ChatGPT as a makeshift psychologist and realised how powerful it is if someone else just mirrors your answers back to you and puts them into perspective. This is where the idea was born. I got a little help from an ex-flatmate who is a psychologist, too (mainly with questions and the general process).
My general motivation is to put something nice into this world. Thinking about translating it into other languages to mainly serve family & friends.
Reactions so far:
- "It's a fast forward to mindfulness"
- "It made me rethink a lot. Brought back a few memories."
- A grown who started to cry when he read his memoir
Feel free to check it out.

Would love some feedback, too. I'm not a web developer by trade, so any pointer where I screwed up are highly appreciated. :-)
