As a happy LXD user, I'm curious what your draw is to bhyve?

If you don't need the strict security boundary, Linux containers have drastically better memory management than any VMM I've played with.

I heard that bhyve has GPU passthru support now. would be fun to have a rock solid freebsd base system and still be able to use my alpine linux environment within a VM (with X) if needed.
