What's new for .NET in Ubuntu 24.04

It's good that they're working on improving the situation. There were a few hickups (Ubuntu and MS .net packages having same names but being installed in incompatible locations, .net8 coming to 22.04 months after official release).

Next up should be fixing the rhel release processes - how do they miss uploading a deps package twice? 8.0.1 and 8.0.4. Especially, after it was a problem on .net6, too with 6.0.22

I always chuckle when I think of the patent-infringing copyright-stealing cancer that was Linux at the time.
