Reddit is updating its app to focus more on comments

I feel like this is geared to keep you from actually reading the link you're clicking on - wherein spez does not get money for capturing your eyeballs - and instead direct you towards the more inflammatory part of any social network, which is the comments section, where you're more likely to engage via responding to a troll and see the ad right above said troll's comment.

Still worse than Apollo.

I would suggest it's more that Reddit comments are now a major part of the Google search results, as people shy away from SEO trash results. If you want an answer to a product question, you're now more likely to get it from Reddit than the front page of Google.
