Russ from Bolton (UK) here. I'm excited to introduce you to Greetio, a new platform that revolutionizes the way we send greetings and well-wishes to our loved ones.
Marketing Blurb: Greetio is all about bringing a personal touch to digital communication. With Greetio, you can send group ecards for any occasion, whether it's a birthday, anniversay, breakup(!), or just to say thank you. But what sets Greetio apart is our AI-powered poetry assistance feature.
Imagine this: You're crafting a heartfelt message for a friend's birthday, but you're stuck on finding the right words. That's where Greetio comes in. Our AI technology helps you write personalized poems that perfectly capture the sentiment you want to convey. Whether you're a seasoned wordsmith or a novice poet, Greetio's AI assistance makes it easy to create beautiful, heartfelt messages that will touch the hearts of your recipients.
Geeky Talk: Like most of my recent web-based projects, Greetio is built with a dotnet core backend, and an Angular frontend. I jumped on the Angular bandwagon back when it was in release candidate - it seemed like a natural fit for a .net dev as it favoured class based components unlike React. Typescript was also a major appeal too.
I used nodejs and express in the past for backend apis, but my preference is to use dotnet. In terms of the database, I prefer to use Mongo these days. For most of my career I have preferred relational databases (SQL/MySQL), but using Mongo saves a huge amount of time during development. The only downside is when it comes to reporting. But I can live wth MQL i guess.
Can I get a discount?: To celebrate the launch of Greetio, I would like to offer an exclusive deal to Hacker News users. You can use the code SHOWHN50 to get 50% discount off single cards.
And finally: As a new product, I would be SUPER grateful if you could share Greetio, and even better link back to the site. If you are interested in writing an article about Greetio, please get in touch and I can arrange some beefy (FREE!) discounts!
Many thanks for reading.
