China has around $800-900B in US Treasury bonds.

$22-23B is a drop in the bucket, and the recent sales are primarily being used to stablize the Yuan [0].

Lotta hysteria around US-China relations, which while not great, aren't at the flashing red level yet, and are way better than US-USSR relations at anytime.

China did not dump but it has been divesting out of its US Treasury holdings over the last 10+ years. It holdings were $1.3-1.4 trillion 10+ years ago now they are just less than $800 billion. Japan has taken over from China as the largest US securities holder and buyer but the way current Yen price is falling against the dollar they might start selling some as well to stop the yen decline

Not sure what's going on with that page but for me it loads, and then just freezes like it's waiting for something else to load and can't. I didn't wait long though because I didn't want to find out what kinds of resources it was going to try to eat up from my browser.

Seems newsworthy but not the best source for this topic.
