I don't know if I should put it this way but, going from 1 million to 2 million is 100% growth but going from 1 trillion to 1 trillion and 1 million is a growth of 0.0001%.

many advanced economies now have a lower grow than usual, even china, so it's not difficult to grow more with a war-economy, but this not reflect in real grow for the whole society, how long can go?
