A small percentage of people control the vast majority of the money, and thereby control the output of the AIs. Everyone else most likely gets by on a UBI. If everything is truly abundant, they may well even have objectively better quality of life than the average person now, just no real ability to impact the world.

So no difference from current conditions, then, except the objectively better quality of life.

UBI is not inevitable. The capital class may well enjoy a world without the 99%.

I have never met a capitalist who wants such a world. If there is such a capitalist, it must be a friend of the infinite paperclip machine.

TBF, from what little we get to know of them via the media, many (most?) of them seem exactly the type for that.
