I recently discovered Cmder:

It's a portable console emulator and gives you the ability to "place your own executable files into the bin folder to be injected into your PATH" when it's run.
So far I've added:

What else would be good to add to the toolbox?

This, in turn, may cause:
blocking by Windows SmartScreen; superfluous UAC confirmations while starting ConEmu or consoles; False alarms from antiviral software; and so on… Unblocking You may unblock each binary file by opening their properties, clicking ‘Unblock’ and ‘Apply’.
