A chrome extension that can itself detects when there is a skippable ad on a video or a youtube survey and can skip that for you without you wasting time to wait for 5 seconds and click on skip ad.

If you like this, you should check out the Chrome extension Clear Skies https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/clear-skies/jkiagen...

I've been using it for over a month and now I pretty much can't stand youtube without it.

looks great, will try this one

Please consider that using an ad-blocking extension without subscribing to YouTube Premium can impact the income of the content creators you enjoy watching. They earn less when ads are skipped or blocked. It’s that’s ethical to you, have at it.

Yes I agree with you but people anyways skip ads.

If they can’t share the message in 5 sec, it’s not worth the watch.

This just clicks "Skip" for you - it's not an ad blocker.

To your other point, creators make most their money from brand deals, merch, and appearances. Ever since the "adpocalypse" it's very easy to get demonetized, and in general the commission was drastically reduced for creators - YouTube and record labels are getting most of the ad money.

Agreed.

Added firefox version here:

Amazing work! Simple yet very useful.

Thanks man. would love to hear any feedback if you have

Make it speed up the ads too.

"Speed up the ads" Can you please elaborate a little like do you want the non skippable ads to move fast or what does it means?

Yeah. Any ads. All should be accelerated to max speed.

Another extension does the same

okay. will look into it if it's possible

I had created one. You can checkout here. Also added it for most browsers https://ad-blitz.vercel.app/
