The next question is, what trickery and pressure those who have invested in all this AI will use to force it upon people once they realise there's no sustainable demand?
>"The end game of AI music seems pretty obvious. Soon, you’ll be able to have access to an app like Spotify that generates an endless stream of music "
That's already been the case for a long time, music and media has been fully commodified. There is literally more media being produced every day, in automated fashion, than you can consume in a year. With or without AI. This hasn't devalued human art, just like mass producing T-Shirts hasn't devalued fashion. Because the entire value is exactly in the authentic brands that are, entirely artificially, scarce. It's why personal influencers and streamers have thrived in an era of cheap mass media, it makes original people stand out. Same way chess personalities have thrived in an era of computer play, and so on.
Every article of this kind has it the wrong way around. It's exactly abundance that creates a demand for outstanding personalities because that's what people crave.
