All you wayland haters are gonna have to get with the program.

My first thought was something like, "well, I guess with GNOME and KDE both defaulting to- wait, they probably mean the thing formerly called Twitter, don't they?"

But how many bots on wayland though? I'll stick with X until a Fedi-Display Server comes out.

I’ve gone from using it all day every day for a decade to deleting all my posts and locking down my account. I’m not the only one.

I couldn't find late 2023 Twitter usage per gender, but I think the rebranding might have not helped with a social network that already had a very masculine audience. Both the new name and the new logo cater to young men over any other demographic, I do not think this helped with the overall usage.

Self plug, but Twitter as filtered by GPT is actually pretty good again. I no longer cringe when I accidentally hit the "For You" tab: https://aihelper.bot/

When I switched to Mastodon twitter got good again

Warning, this person may have a conflict of interest rendering his neutrality in this matter open to question.

Look, if you can’t see what’s wrong with that chart, well, I dunno what to tell you. I actually briefly thought it was a _joke_ on first seeing it, before recalling that Musk has no sense of humour.

Of course Musk is not neutral. It's in his interest to try to make Twitter look as good as possible.

Musk is not doing a very good job of it. Telling your customers to go fuck themselves is not a winning business strategy:
