Dodgy number 1. Weight-loss drugs affect the brain in ways that help researchers understand how the body regulates weigh. No mention of how the drugs effect the brain. COULD be dangerous!
Dodgy number 2. The success of the powerful new class of diabetes and weight-loss drugs shows how important chemistry is to determining a person’s weight.
We were told all this when SSRI's flooded the market with some total bullshit about chemical Imbalance. There is no such thing.
CHEMICAL IMBALANCE THEORY IS A MYTH !!!!!!!!!!!! The “Theory That Never Was” has taken hold in the minds of so many.
I am retired psychotherapist and I can assure you all that chemical imbalance is a myth created by big pharma to sell SSRI's back in the late 1980's. Chemical imbalance does not cause depression or any psychiatric illness.
Totally misleading the general public, pharmaceutical companies heavily promoted the “chemical imbalance” hypothesis in their direct-to-consumer advertising, ie, GP's and psychiatric staff etc.
dodgy number 3. “This is not about willpower or personal choice,” said Dr. Florencia Halperin, an endocrinologist and chief medical officer of Form, a virtual medical weight-loss clinic. “This is about your brain driving behaviors.” Totally to "form" Dr Halperin has a dog in the race.
NO! ITS ABOUT EATING TOO MUCH FOOD SQUIRTED OUT OF MACHINES.
