The rest of the system is just as wild if not wilder. Input forwarding is complex! It also supports usb-ip!!! Wildlu fun options; seeing a better consumerized usb-pd would be so fun.

This is a new project from Jean-Baptiste Kempf, main contributor of VLC

It sounds pretty insane, basically real time latency streaming for audio, video and inputs, where both the client and the server can run anywhere, on desktop, on mobile, on the web, so you could potentially play Cyberpunk 2077 by simply opening a new tab on any machine

It will be open-sourced although the project appears not to be yet available https://kyber.media/
