Though I personally agree with the core idea of this site, I'm always wary of political websites, mailing lists, projects, etc. that do not explicitly state who's working on them. People or orgs alike. Sure, it might be related to the person behind democracy.io (who's got a Github page), but it's not explicit.

The lack of "about" page or equivalent always make me squint. Some websites may require their maintainers to value anonymity, but it's not a given.

The idea that a nation with resources wouldn't be able to hold a supply chain without <insert_whatever_western_touted_technology> is just laughable. I just don't understand how a mildly intelligent person could hold this view.

The problem is that China will rush to fill in the gap, and supply its own CNC machinery to Russia. The quality is good enough (never underestimate "good enough").

Who will stop them?

They have a permanent seat on the UN Security Council - like Russia. They can veto any UN resolution - like Russia.

The real lasting solution is for Russia to implode, and for its own population to dismember the empire into its constituent republics, and for "Russia" to be slashed back to its native province of Muscovy.
