Not getting the “sidestep sanctions” narrative. They clearly strive for independence.
Yeah it's a little forced. I guess that native Chinese products meeting/exceeding Western performance metrics is now equivalent to "sidestepping sanctions"
But really, "Made In China 2025" has been the ten-year plan for 9 years now.
