Ask HN: Job for college student better than DoorDash?

So my son is trying to work is way though college and doing lots of things to figure it out. He's thinking he could add driving part time for DoorDash to add to the monthly income. But I wonder if there are some remote jobs out there like resetting passwords, servers or routers or something that he could learn enough about to get a less-disruptive and safer that he can make extra money with. He's tried those "Fivrr" type of sites and they didn't fit the bill, he wants something steady.
