They advocate anything as they dont have to actually deliver anything. All kinds of things were promised but when the time came they said "Not now" and spoke about "bipartisanship". After losing the houses, they suddenly turned to loudly advocating all the things they didnt do when they could push them. These sound like empty policy advocacy like the ones before.
This just means that people will be paid less as they are "working less" on paper, when in reality they are working every day of the week.
