Supercharging Fuel Cells with Caffeine

Don't catalyze with me until I've had my coffee.

I wonder what prompted the researchers to try caffeine as a catalyst. Perhaps they spilled coffee on the lab bench and got a good reading :)

Of course it worked. I’ve been supercharging myself by infusing caffeine since 20 years ago. Why wouldn’t it work with fuel cels?
