Thank You: Cloud, etc. platforms for generous free tiers

I mentor some up and coming folks who are trying to get into the tech field. And when I came up I had servers in my bedroom making all sorts of noise and heat (9.1GB SCSI 10k rpm+ drives anyone?) running my own services. And of course we can do this today with far less heat and noise. But somehow it’s not the same. It’s more fun and rewarding to be able to host these things somewhere. And that’s where you all come in. You the builders the devs etc who monetize your work and platforms and do all sorts of cool stuff but then also turn around and offer very generous free tiers. Always free. Etc. of course we could put them on 5 dollar VPSes but you’d be surprised the hesitation broke college students have when it comes to these things when they don’t really know what they’re doing.
