Users flagged it. We can only guess why users flag things, but this type of story has shown up so often on HN that users have become conditioned to (a) not find it interesting, unless there's some significant new information, and also (b) be suspicious when only one side of the story is being told. I'm not saying that your story is suspicious (I have no idea) nor that the information isn't significant to you (of course it is), but for a good HN submission there needs to be something significantly new and interesting for readers to sink their teeth into, and a post like this simply doesn't do that. I think this is most likely why the readers have been flagging your posts.

A user most likely flagged your post. HackerNews is not a monolithic entity, but rather the sum of its user-base in tandem with its moderation department.

If you feel it was unfairly flagged, please contact moderators instead of making a new post. The general audience can't really help you.
