Article quality doesn't really matter for the purposes of what counts as a dupe on HN. The time to switch to a better article was while the conversation was ongoing (and regardless, Reuters will probably not be dropped in favor of WSJ because of the paywall).
Yeah, but it's not explictly called out in the rules. And it's sad that HN readers take "free" over "quality."
Wall Street Journal is Murdoch Trash, thinking that they have better quality than Reuters is bold
